Bali Body Late Night Lover : Review.

Hi! Long time, no talk. Welcome back to my blog. We are kicking things off again over here with a little review on the Bali Body Late Night Lover bundle.

With the weather transitioning, my skin is dryer, more dull, and a little less lively, and anything intended to perk up, enhance, highlight, or revive the skin is deeply welcomed and appreciated. This set contains products for all over the body that can do just that. It includes 5 pieces: a shimmering body oil, a coconut lip balm, a BB cream, and a body moisturizer, along with a beautiful transparent, beauty bag. I've had these things in my posession for quite some time, and I'm ready to review each piece.

The Case

The carrying case that it comes with is honestly one of my favorite of the pieces. It is chic, stylish, and versatile, and is absolutely perfect for traveling. It has a beautiful gold trim and interesting stitching details that definitely draw me in. It's also really easy to wipe clean, if any make up spills in it. Obsessed with it.

I really like this moisturizer. It does exactly what it's supposed to do: moisturizes the body. It has been lovely for me in these recent weeks, and I'm surprised with how long the bottle has lasted. It did take me a second to get used to the fragrance, however. It has a somewhat odd scent. It smells of coconuts, but not in the traditional, tropical type of way. It's by no means a bad scent, it just isn't what I expected, nor is it the type of coconut scent I'm really used to. The more I use it the more I like it, though. My gripes about this are limited to the fact that it's quite small, for a body lotion, and that the opening is very small.

BB Cream

This product is probably great for a lot of people, but I didn't love it. It's very thin, difficult for me to manage, and provides very little in the way of coverage. I have scars on my face and I need a bit of coverage to feel comfortable in what I'm wearing on my face at any given time, and this just missed the mark for me, personally. That being said, though, this product would be great for anyone who just wants the slightest bit of coverage. It is quite moisturizing and gives the skin a really healthy glow, which would probably be perfect for winter, if this type of product is up your street.

Shimmering Body Oil

I love this and so does my mother. We love a good body highlight, and I love that this has max shimmer with absolutely no base color. It's literally body oil with shimmer mixed in. It's especially perfect on the collar bones, and shoulders, but can be used literally all over to make you glow like the goddess that you are. This is the one product that I feel I would reserve specifically for summer, OR a holiday party, when I really want to add a little sparkle to my step. Love this.

Coconut Lip Balm SPF 15

LOVE THIS. Saved my very, very favorite for last. I love every aspect of this. I love the scent, the tactile experience, the consistency, and the flavor. It is ultra hydrating, and is, in fact, the only reason my lips survived very dry, very sunny LA over the summer. The coconut scent of this is my absolute favorite, and I will definitely repurchase it. ALSO, SPF is still very important in the winter months, even when it's cloudy, and even when you'll only be outside for a few minutes! So do not neglect your SPF on your face, body or lips!

This set retails at $99USD and has an overall value of $125USD, and I really think it's a great way to test all of these pieces in a less expensive way. The packaging is all lovely, and I think that many people would love all of these products. The BB cream was really the only piece that I won't continue to use, and that's just because of my particular skin type and skin issues; I think many people would get along great with it. I do wish that it included a body SPF, or that the moisturizer included SPF, but there are other Bali Body Bundles that do include SPF if you're interested in that! Overall I'll give this set a 7/10 and you can shop it here.

Have you tried anything from Bali Body? I'd love to hear your thoughts! And, as always, thanks for reading. Until next time, cheers xx.
